Mondays, October 5th – November 23rd 7:00pm-9:00pm
Exam, Monday, December 7th 7:00pm - 8:00pm
The WSET Level 2 Award in Wine class is a two-hour class that runs for eight weeks, nine including the exam. The class fee is $679. This is the price listed on the web site, if candidates pay the shop directly, either in person or over the phone, they will receive a 5% discount ($645). The class fee includes the study pack, and exam, registration, and education fees. We will be tasting six wines per class, 48 wines total. Candidates have the option to split the payments to pay half up front ($322.50) and the other half during week 5. The registration deadline for the class is September 28th.
Our classroom can hold up to 16 students, however due to CDC guidelines we are limiting the class number to 8. To accommodate our students, we are offering two classes both starting Monday, October 5th, one at 4:00pm and another at 7:00pm. The first half of the class will take place inside the classroom with masks on for the lecture. For the tasting portion, weather permitting, we will go outside and spread out to do the tasting. If the weather is prohibitive, we will go downstairs and spread out in the bar area.
Currently we plan on offering two Level 2 classes a year. The next Level 2 class will be offered in the Spring. For further questions please contact Joanne Close directly joanne@theindependentnola.com
